About Zilina: The Štadión pod Dubňom in Žilina, Slovakia, is one of the countrys most iconic football venues, blending decades of local sporting tradition with a modern atmosphere thats perfect for international matches. Originally opened in 1941 and fully renovated between 2006 and 2009, the stadium today features four covered stands, a capacity of just over 10,000 spectators, and state-of-the-art facilities including VIP boxes, powerful lighting systems, and even a dedicated prayer room. It serves as the home ground of MŠK Žilina, one of Slovakias top clubs, and has hosted numerous national and international fixtures over the years. In June 2025, the Štadión pod Dubňom played a major role during the UEFA Under-21 European Championship, proudly hosting multiple matches in Group C.
