Taipei Drone Flight: Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, is a modern metropolis with Japanese colonial lanes, busy shopping streets and contemporary buildings. The skyline is crowned by the 509m-tall, bamboo-shaped Taipei 101 skyscraper, with upscale shops at the base and a rapid elevator to an observatory near the top. Taipei is also known for its lively street-food scene and many night markets, including expansive Shilin market. Major attractions include the National Palace Museum, displaying a vast collection of Chinese Imperial art moved from Beijings Forbidden City in 1949, and the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The old neighborhoods of Wanhua and Datong are filled with historic sites, including Longshan Temple, founded in 1738 and honoring numerous Buddhist and Taoist gods. Near the city and accessible by metro is the longtime spa region of Beitou, offering soaks at geothermal springs and hikes at adjacent Yangmingshan National Park. Guinea Drone Flight: Guinea is a country in West Africa, bordered on the west by the Atlantic Ocean. Its known for the Mount Nimba Strict Nature Reserve, in the southeast. The reserve protects a forested mountain range rich in native plants and animals, including chimpanzees and the viviparous toad. On the coast, the capital city, Conakry, is home to the modern Grand Mosque and the National Museum, with its regional artifacts. The sandy beaches of the Loos Islands, near Conakry, are backed by thick palm forests. To the north, Cape Verga has popular beach towns like Bel Air as well as more remote, undeveloped beaches. Fouta Djallon is a highland area in central Guinea. It has rolling grasslands, high mountain peaks and layered sandstone formations eroded over time to create jungle canyons and deep gorges. Two cascades combine to form Bridal Veil Waterfall near the town of Kindia. Native wild dogs roam Badiar Transboundary National Park, on the Senegal border. Guinea-Bissau Drone Flight: Guinea-Bissau is a tropical country on West Africas Atlantic coast thats known for national parks and wildlife. The forested, sparsely populated Bijagós archipelago is a protected biosphere reserve. Its main island, Bubaque, forms part of the Orango Islands National Park, a habitat for saltwater hippos. On the mainland, the capital, Bissau, is a port with Portuguese colonial buildings in its old city center. Near the Senegal border in the north, Varela is a notable beach community in Varela National Park, reached over rugged terrain from the town of São Domingos. Bordering a nearby river, Rio Cacheu Mangroves Natural Park is a habitat for migrating birds. Theres hiking and boating in Cantanhez Forest National Park, near the countrys southern tip. Lagoas de Cufada Natural Park, farther north, is a wetlands region full of marshes and river channels. The sovereign state of Mali consists of eight regions and its borders on the north reach deep into the middle of the Sahara Desert, while the countrys southern part, where the majority of inhabitants live, features the Niger and Senegal rivers. The countrys economy centers on agriculture and mining. Some of Malis prominent natural resources include gold, being the third largest producer of gold in the African continent, and salt. Present-day Mali was once part of three West African empires that controlled trans-Saharan trade: the Ghana Empire, the Mali Empire, and the Songhai Empire. Mauritania Drone Flight: Mauritania, officially the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, is a country in Northwest Africa. It is the eleventh largest sovereign state in Africa and is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Western Sahara to the north and northwest, Algeria to the northeast, Mali to the east and southeast, and Senegal to the southwest. The country derives its name from the ancient Berber kingdom of Mauretania, which existed from the 3rd century BCE into the 7th century CE in the far north of modern-day Morocco and Algeria. Approximately 90% of Mauritanias land is within the Sahara; consequently, the population is concentrated in the south, where precipitation is slightly higher.
