About Surabaya: Stadion Gelora Bung Tomo is a multi-purpose stadium in Benowo, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. It is a part of the Surabaya Sports Center. The rest of the sports complex consists of an indoor stadium and a mosque. This stadium is used mostly for football matches. It replaced the older Gelora 10 November Stadium.The stadium is used for football matches and is a new base for Persebaya Surabaya. GBT can accommodate 40,000 spectators. The stadium is named after Bung Tomo, who is a National Hero of Indonesia. // Persatuan Sepakbola Surabaya (lit. Football Association of Surabaya), commonly known as Persebaya Surabaya or simply Persebaya, is an Indonesian professional football club based in Surabaya, East Java. The club currently plays in the Liga 1, the top flight of Indonesian football. Stadion ini digunakan untuk pertandingan sepak bola dan menjadi basis baru bagi Persebaya Surabaya, menggantikan Stadion Gelora 10 November. Stadion Gelora Bung Tomo sendiri dapat menampung 46.806 penonton setelah renovasi. // Persatuan Sepak Bola Surabaya (disingkat Persebaya) adalah sebuah klub sepak bola profesional Indonesia yang berbasis di Kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Persebaya pernah mengubah namanya menjadi Persebaya 1927 akibat dari konflik Dualisme Persebaya Surabaya yang terjadi pada tahun 2010 hingga 2017 yang menyebabkan keanggotaan Persebaya di PSSI dibekukan. Setelah persoalan dualisme Persebaya selesai, status keanggotaan Persebaya dipulihkan kembali ketika kongres tahunan PSSI pada tanggal 8 Januari 2017 di Bandung.
