About Slovenia: Slovenia (/sloʊˈviːniə, slə-/ (listen) sloh-VEE-nee-ə; Slovene: Slovenija slɔˈʋèːnija), officially the Republic of Slovenia (Slovene: Republika Slovenija (help·info), abbr.: RS), is a country in Central Europe.
