Salvador: Capoeira (Portuguese pronunciation: [kapuˈejɾɐ / kapwɐjɾɐ]) is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. It was developed by African slaves in Brazil at the beginning of the 16th century. It is known for its quick and complex maneuvers, predominantly using power, speed, and leverage across a wide variety of kicks, spins, and other techniques. The most widely accepted origin of the word capoeira comes from the Tupi words kaa (jungle) e pûer (it was), referring to the areas of low vegetation in the Brazilian interior where fugitive slaves would hide. Torndirrup Drone Flight: Torndirrup National Park is a national park in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, 400 kilometres (249 mi) southeast of Perth and via Frenchman Bay Road is10 km (6.2 mi) south of Albany. Torndirrup National Park has many impressive rock formations on the coast. These include the Gap, Natural Bridge and the Blowholes all shaped from the local granite.
