American Virgin Islands Drone Flight: The U.S. Virgin Islands are a group of Caribbean islands and islets. A U.S. territory, its known for white-sand beaches, reefs and verdant hills. St. Thomas island is home to the capital, Charlotte Amalie. To the east is the island of St. John, most of which comprises Virgin Islands National Park. St. Croix island and its historic towns, Christiansted and Frederiksted, are to the south. In St. Thomas, Charlotte Amalie features a cruise-ship harbor, the Skyride aerial tram and a 17th-century watchtower known as Blackbeards Castle. On the northern coast is Magens Bay, a popular beach with calm waters, and Mahogany Run, a seaside golf course. Regular ferries head to St. John, which has forests and petroglyphs along Reef Bay Trail, plus an underwater nature trail at Trunk Bay. St. Croix encompasses 18th-century Danish buildings, former sugar plantations and Salt Rivers bioluminescent bay. Offshore attractions include wall diving in Cane Bay and snorkeling at Buck Island Reef.
