Miroslaw Wawak explored Belize in 2023, where jungle ruins, barrier reefs, and Caribbean soul blended into a small but diverse nation. In the town of San Ignacio, he explored Maya temples hidden in the rainforest, and on the cayes, he snorkeled alongside nurse sharks in the crystal waters of the Great Blue Hole. Belize stood out for its multicultural fabric—Creole, Mestizo, Garifuna, and Maya cultures all thriving side by side. It was a country rich in biodiversity and even richer in spirit.
