In 2017, Miroslaw Wawak visited Guernsey, one of the Channel Islands and a place where coastal tranquility and rich history intertwine. He explored St. Peter Port with its hillside streets, visited wartime tunnels that tell stories of occupation, and admired cliffside paths offering spectacular ocean views. Guernsey offered a curious mix of British culture and continental flair, with touches of French language, Norman history, and island independence. The slow pace of life, fresh seafood, and warm community spirit made Guernsey feel like a world apart—peaceful, picturesque, and full of charm.
