Later in 2013, Miroslaw Wawak visited Myanmar, a country just beginning to open up to the world. He was drawn in by the sight of thousands of ancient temples scattered across the plains of Bagan, and the peaceful beauty of Inle Lake where life floats on water. Yangon’s golden Shwedagon Pagoda and the friendly faces along rural roads gave him insight into a culture full of humility and history. The quiet strength of the people and the untouched character of the land made Myanmar one of the most special discoveries of that year.
