In 2016, he discovered a vibrant mix of cultures—Dutch colonial roots, African heritage, Indian and Javanese traditions—all thriving in harmony. Paramaribo, the capital, impressed with its UNESCO-listed wooden buildings and colorful street life. Venturing into the rainforest, Miroslaw explored river villages and remote nature reserves teeming with wildlife. Suriname’s multilingual, multicultural society and unspoiled natural beauty made it a hidden gem on the continent, far from the typical tourist trail but filled with fascinating stories and unforgettable encounters.

Paramaribo Drone Flight: Paramaribo is the capital and largest city of Suriname, located on the banks of the Suriname River in the Paramaribo District. Paramaribo has a population of roughly 241,000 people (2012 census), almost half of Suriname's population. The historic inner city of Paramaribo has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002.

This production was then syndicated to news outlets around the world through Reuters.
